Dr. Linda Taylor, a native of Mexico City, Mexico, grew up in Laredo, TX. Dr. Taylor attended Texas A&M in College Station, TX, and received her Bachelor’s of Nursing from Texas A&M University in Laredo, TX. While serving her country in the United States Air Force, Dr. Taylor received her first Master of Arts in Health Care Education from Trident University. After her service, Dr. Taylor completed her second Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Dr. Taylor has cared for patients in a wide scope of practice. Dr. Taylor grew up primarily speaking Spanish in her home. Being bilingual allows her to establish a connection with the underserved Hispanic community, allowing for a personal connection with her patients. After serving the community for five years, Dr. Taylor received her Doctorate of Nursing from Baylor University in Waco, TX. Her ten years of practice have included Women’s Health, Medical-Surgical, Outpatient Clinic, Home Health, Weight loss/Bariatric surgery, and triage of critical airlift patients in Military Healthcare. Dr. Taylor has also served as an adjunct faculty member in the BSN accelerated program at Union University.
