Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Julie E. Lee is a distinguished community health leader with 22 years of dedicated service in the US Army. As a seasoned Army Public Health Nurse, Julie held key leadership positions, including Director of Community Health Nursing at Fort Liberty, North Carolina (formally known as Fort Bragg) and Director of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Julie has earned an impressive array of academic credentials, including a Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing from the University of Tennesse at Martin, a Master of Arts (MA) in Health Service Management from Webster University, a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from Campbell University, and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University. Currently, Julie is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Executive Nurse Leadership from Vanderbilt University. A devoted family person, Julie has been married for 21 years to Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Clinton L. Lee Jr. They are the proud parents of Jasmine E. Lee their 19-year-old daughter attending Louisiana State University (LSU) and Clinton L. Lee III, their 17-year-old son attending Collierville High School.
In Julie's personal time, faith, wellness, and self-care are essential. Julie enjoys nurturing her spiritual growth, practicing meditation, and connecting with nature. Relaxation and rejuvenation are also found in visiting spas, exercising, and pursuing hobbies that promote serenity and balance.
