Nearly half of all adults in the United States have some form of cardiovascular disease, including heart attack, stroke, or heart failure. High cholesterol, Type 2 diabetes, and uncontrolled high blood pressure are leading risk factors for cardiovascular disease, but with timely diagnosis, research-based treatment, and education, these conditions can be managed.

Christ Community Health Services has been honored with Gold Level Recognition from the American Heart Association’s 2025 Check. Change. Control. Cholesterol™ Achievement Awards. This award acknowledges Christ Community’s commitment to reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke by improving high cholesterol management across its patient population.

Through the dedicated efforts of our medical providers, pharmacists, and care teams, Christ Community continues to follow the latest evidence- and science-based care guidelines to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

“This recognition is a reflection of our team’s commitment to excellence and compassion in care,” said Dr. Reginique Green, Chief Clinical Officer at Christ Community Health Services. “At Christ Community, we believe in treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. This award highlights our ongoing mission to provide care that not only meets medical standards but also restores hope and strengthens lives.”

This recognition represents more than an award; it reflects Christ Community’s ongoing mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by helping patients live longer, stronger, and healthier lives.
