MEMPHIS,Tenn. — Christ Community Health Services and New Direction Christian Church announced they have partnered to host free COVID-19 testing today.
The testing will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at New Direction, located at 6120 Winchester Rd., Memphis, according to a press release.
Testing is available to anyone experiencing symptoms, and to essential frontline workers.
This includes those working at hair salons,barbershops, restaurants, warehouses, public utilities, healthcare facilities,correctional facilities and in sanitation, according to the press release.
Those who wish to be tested are encouraged to pre-register by texting NDCC2020 to 41444.
“New Direction is excited to work with Christ Community to increase testing opportunities with the Memphis community,” said Congregational Care Leadership Pastor Stella Hollis.
Christ Community Health Services provides daily COVID-19 testing at all eight Christ Community Health Services locations.
