Over the past several months, our team’s daily staff devotion centered around Intentional Love. This focus encourages our team to make love a daily choice – beginning in the quiet moments of our personal lives and carrying that love into how we serve, encourage and care for others.
Intentional Love requires intentional action. We choose patience instead of frustration. We choose forgiveness instead of resentment. We choose kindness instead of criticism. Intentional Love starts with seeing every patient as a person – not just a patient. We want to know you. Whether we’re listening to a concern, offering encourage mentor praying together, our team strives to make every person who walks through our doors feel comfortable, supported and heard.
We make space for spiritual care
Intentional Love means meeting people where they are and walking alongside them. Oftentimes, our team’s support extends beyond the physical. Health challenge scan affect more than the body and can often bring emotional and spiritual needsto the surface. Our patients navigate grief, uncertainty, fear and questions,and our team is there to listen, encourage, pray and connect patients with spiritual support when desired.
We connect our patients with support
Intentional Love means our patients know we’re in their corner. Our team connects patients with people, services and resources that can support their mental and spiritual well-being, such as behavioral health services or spiritual care.
We aspire to have Spiritual Health Advisors at all our health centers, working alongside our doctors and staff to offer prayer, spiritual encouragement, and support as part of whole-person care. We also partner with local churches and faith communities to help patients connect with additional spiritual support and resources in their communities.
