Do you want to serve the Lord while learning from Christian healthcare providers who care for the underserved in Memphis? Discover how to provide medical care to the urban poor while also fulfilling your school's educational requirements.  We'd love for you to catch the vision and mission of CCHS!

We are happy to offer clinical rotations for resident physicians, medical students, NP students and PA students.  We also host shadowing opportunities for college students interested in future health careers.  Everyone who rotates or shadows with us at CCHS is required to complete the student application prior to consideration.

Our goal is to teach you how to view patients holistically, as more than mere physical beings.  Although many patients present to us with physical concerns in mind, we aim to address their physical, emotional and spiritual needs through sound medical advice, prayer and wise counsel based on biblical principles . We are happy to mentor students who are excited to learn more about caring medically for the urban underserved in Memphis.

Applications are accepted based on the cycle below and reviewed by members of the CCHS Medical Education Committee.  Due to the large number of student applications received, we are unable to accommodate every student who applies.
