With professional training, supportive group sessions, and a wide array of educational resources, Safe helps both community leaders and individual victims deal with the potentially devastating effects of sexual assault and abuse.

Our professionally-trained staff conducts numerous conveniently-scheduled workshops on key topics related to sexual assault, including:

• Crisis-intervention training for pastors or pastor-appointed representatives
• Protocols for selection of child-care workers and volunteers
• Age-appropriate training for children and teens (5-17)
• Legal liability of the church and Tennessee Legal Code reporting protocols for sexual assault allegations
• Self-defense

Among other services, we also provide:

• Support-group sessions for sexual assault/abuse survivors and their supporters
• Assistance with developing and implementing intervention and prevention efforts
• Informational materials and resource referrals
• Lists of local social service agencies that should be contacted in case of an allegation or suspected abuse
