Our Success

Club 61 focuses on meeting the educational, recreational, and spiritual needs of every student at Lester. Studies show that students who take part in activities such as sports or music perform better in school and are less likely to join gangs, use drugs, or drop out of school.

Chances for success are also greatly improved when students have a relationship with Jesus Christ and the support of strong local church.

Since its first meeting in October 2000, Club 61 has continued to change the future, one student at a time. Nearly 110 students, 20% of the Lester Elementary student body, are involved with at least one Club 61 activity.
